Giving Projects
Giving back to the community!
Aloma’s passion for giving back shines through her community projects, helping others build brighter futures. These initiatives are her way of supporting and uplifting the community she loves.
Bless a Mom Project
Being a mom is one of the hardest jobs, and the challenges of recent times have magnified this in ways many of us couldn’t have imagined. Moms are juggling more than ever, and they deserve extra appreciation.
Since 2011, Aloma has been finding ways to honor and celebrate moms, particularly those who may not have anyone to show them the love they deserve. Her first project was offering free Mother’s Day portraits through the Free Photo Project, bringing joy and gratitude to countless moms. She’s also visited shelters to help kids create special handmade gifts for their mothers.
This passion for celebrating moms has led to the creation of the Bless a Mom Project. This initiative allows anyone to nominate a deserving mom—or even nominate themselves. Not everyone has someone to think of them on Mother’s Day, and this project is here to make sure those moms feel seen and loved. This isn’t a contest; it’s a movement to share appreciation.
Aloma’s goal is to bless as many moms as possible because every mom deserves to feel valued and cherished.
Free Photo Project
The Free Photo Project, founded in 2008 by Aloma Loren Murray, is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to providing free portraits to homeless and low-income families. Guided by the mission of “creating smiles on both sides of the camera,” the project captures moments of joy and dignity for individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to professional photography. Through this meaningful work.
The Free Photo Project fosters connection, confidence, and cherished memories for those it serves, making a lasting impact on both participants and photographers alike.
All Access Art
The All Access Art Project brings the joy of creativity to those who need it most by offering mobile art workshops and experiences. Designed to reach people and places that benefit from the power of creative expression, this program inspires connection, imagination, and happiness through art. By making artistic experiences accessible to everyone, the All Access Art Project spreads joy and fosters a sense of community, one brushstroke at a time.
Halloween Delivered
The Halloween Delivered Project is a heartwarming initiative created to bring the joy of Halloween directly to children across town. Treat bags filled with goodies were delivered to kids, ensuring they could celebrate the holiday with excitement and fun, even if traditional trick-or-treating wasn’t possible.
This thoughtful event spreads smiles and creates lasting memories, making Halloween special for every child it reaches.
